Obtaining Material and Equipment

While the research team was hard at work on the research paper, the building team focused on the construction of the mobile lab. I constructed a simple portable Incubator for the bacteria out of sun-board, mirror sheet and clear acrylic. Tushar and Sharukh worked on a simple Arduino Program to regulate the temperature in the incubator.

Apart from the incubator, a lot of other materials needed to be sourced for the construction of the mobile lab.

I scouted out various locations in the City for lab equipment, glassware, autoclavable plastics, chemicals and materials for the water sample collection kit.
