Day 13 - 14th February, 2013 - Wrap up at NCBS and Reflection

Attending Hackteria Lab 2013 has been an insightful experience. I got to meet artists, scientists, and hackers who enjoy dabbling in this and that, to explore new media and technology. Making music through movement, drawing on film to make a film, creating paper circuits, using old computer parts to make a mixed tape, using the knowledge of science in performance art, and putting up installations of Bio-Art were some fascinating topics that I hadn't come across before.

It was a great opportunity to see like minded people collaborating ideas from different specialties into one brilliant experiment. The experience has changed the way I perceive art. I have also learned that any 'waste material' can be used somewhere or the other, and every idea is worth trying out. I hope I get to attend the whole 2 weeks of Hackteria Lab next year, so I can fully appreciate the art of science.
